Colorful EyeGlass Case Class

Join us on Saturday, April 9th and 16th from 1-3 pm for a great new class.  This class features a bright and bold canvas from Colors of Praise Needlepoint painted on 13M.  We will instruct students through 32 different design areas using our newest fiber line, Planet Earth Silk.  The class includes the canvas, fiber, and a comprehensive stitch guide.  If you are wanting to learn new stitches and techniques, this is the class for you.  To sign up, give us a buzz, 412-343-4630.

Fiber Notebook III - Colorful Stitches for Over-dye Threads

Join us for the next three part class in the popular Fiber Notebook class series.  Fiber III will explore variegated fibers in depth using the wonderful book title of the book, by June McKnight.  The class will be a three session class that will meet on Saturday May 14th, 21st, & 28th from 1-3 pm.  The first two Fiber notebook classes are not a prerequisite, but class size will be limited so sign up early!

These are the dates that your project must be in to Beehive NeedleArts, so that we can guarantee items back to you before the given holiday.  Any items brought in after the date, we will try to accommodate, but cannot promise it will be back before the holiday.

2011 TNNA Winter Trade Show

The bees just returned from the 2011 TNNA Needlearts Market in Long Beach.  New canvases and other show goodies are arriving daily.  Be sure to see Kelly Clark’s new Tassles and Christmas ornaments, they are beautiful!  Clara Wells designed great new handbags, totes, and shoes!  The Point of it All designed a series of houses for a darling 12 Days of Christmas.  We are also excited about a great new self-finishing tote bag.  Pichke Pockets are cool tote bags with coordinating 10M canvases that are self finishing!

Fiber News...New Colors for 2011

The New Year brings us New Colors!  Buzz in to see the new colors additions to many of our fiber lines.  Rainbow Galley and ThreadWorx have added new colors to many of thier lines.  Rainbow Gallery has also introduced a new line of Varigated Very Velvet.  Kreinik has added 16 new colors for both the #12 and #16 braids.  Caron Collection has added six amazing colors to their line Snow.
